This MAb recognises and interacts with human genistein. There is some cross-reactivity with daidzein (3.3 %), dihydrodaidzein (2.5 %), dihydrogenistein (0.4 %), and glycitein (0.3 %), but none with equol or O-DMA. It can be used for enzyme or fluorescent immunoassays, and is produced using BSA-conjugated human genistein as an immunogen.

This MAb is specific to the human gastric biomarker protein hormone gastrin-17, though it has no cross-reactivity to gastrin-34 or cholecystokinin. It can be used in immunohistochemical staining and enzyme immunoassays. Synthetic gastrin-17 coupled to thyroglobulin is used as an immunogen for antibody production.

Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)

This MAb is highly specific to the human neurotransmitter, GABA, with a weak interaction against the β-alanine BSA-conjugate antigen, but only at the highest concentrations. There is no interaction with any other amino acid-BSA conjugates. It can be used in fluorescence microscopy and other immunohistochemical methods, as well as on frozen sections, provided they have been perfusion fixed beforehand. Glutaraldehyde must be included in the fixative of paraffin sections, if they are used. GABA coupled to BSA with glutaraldehyde is used as an immunogen for antibody production.

Erythroid beta-spectrin

This MAb is specific to the 220 kD human erythroid -spectrin protein, present in skeletal muscle cell membranes. It can be used to identify erythroid leukaemia, to monitor the integrity of muscle cell plasma membranes, and in various immunochemical reactions, immunoprecipitation, western blotting, as well as immunocytochemistry methodologies. Ghost proteins from human red blood cells are used as immunogens for production of this antibody.

Erythroid alpha-spectrin

This MAb is specific to the 240 kD human erythroid α-spectrin protein. It can be used to detect erythroid spectrin or to identify erythroid leukaemia, and also in various immunochemical reactions, immunoprecipitation, western blotting, as well as immunocytochemistry methodologies. Ghost proteins from human red blood cells are used as immunogens for production of this antibody.

Cytokeratin 8, 18 and 19

This MAb interacts with the cytokeratin 8, 18 and 19 genes, found in many simple epithelial cells, and it can be used in Immunohistochemical staining and western blotting. Purified cytokeratin – from cultured pig kidney epithelial cells – is used as an immunogen for production of this antibody.

Cytokeratin 7, 17 and 19

This MAb interacts with the cytokeratin 7, 17 and 19 genes, found in many simple and squamous epithelial cells, and it can be used in immunohistochemical staining and western blotting. Purified cytokeratin – from cultured pig kidney epithelial cells – is used as an immunogen for production of this antibody.

Cytokeratin 18

This MAb identifies the cytokeratin 18 gene (CK18), coding for a type I intermediate filament protein found mainly in simple epithelial cells. It interacts with a variety of different species, especially mouse CK18, and can be applied in developmental biological and gene knockout studies, as well as for immunohistochemical staining, western blotting and immunoprecipitation. Cytokeratin – isolated from cultured pig kidney epithelial cells – is used as an immunogen for production of this antibody.

Calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP)

This MAb is highly specific to CGRPs, remaining inactive with other neuropeptides. It functions within human and guinea pig tissue, but not rat. It can be used in ELISA, fluorescence microscopy, immunoblotting with BSA-conjugated samples, and other immunohistochemical methods, as well as on frozen sections providing they have undergone perfusion fixation. Paraformaldehyde must be included in the fixative with paraffin sections, if used. A terminal fragment of the CGRP, coupled to BSA with glutaraldehyde, is used as an immunogen for antibody production.

Cellular fibronectin

This MAb is specific to the extradomain A sequence of human fibronectin. It cross-reacts with humans, rats, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, and can be used in immunohistochemical staining, immunoblotting and other immunoassays for cellular or tumour biology. Purified fibronectin from A8387 fibrosarcoma cells is used as an immunogen for antibody production.

Beta 3-integrin

This MAb interacts with the β3 human integrin, including the GPIIIa complex on platelets. It can be used for immunohistochemical staining, immunoblotting and other immunoassays for cellular or tumour biology research. A partially purified platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa complex is used as an immunogen for production of this antibody.

Beta 1-integrin – IgG1, clone DF5

This MAb interacts with the extracellular β1 subunit epitope of the human integrin protein family. It can be used for immunohistochemical staining, immunoblotting and other immunoassays for cellular or tumour biology research, as well as immunofluorescence staining of paraffin sections. Wheat germ agglutinin-binding glycoproteins from human fibroblasts are used as immunogens for antibody production.

Beta 1-integrin – IgG1, clone DF7

This MAb to human integrins interacts with the extracellular β1 subunit epitope of the integrin protein family.

Alpha-fodrin

This is a MAb specific to the 240 kD human cytoskeletal polypeptide α-fodrin of all non-erythroid mammalian cells, as well as α-spectrin in chickens. It cross-reacts with humans, rats, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, and can be used for immunohistochemical staining, immunoblotting and other immunoassays for cellular or tumour biology research. Red blood cell membranes from chickens are purified by hypotonic lysis and mechanical enucleation, and used as immunogens for antibody production.

Alpha-actinin

This is a MAb specific to the 100 kD human cytoskeletal polypeptide α-actinin, interacting with human and chicken cells. It can be used for immunohistochemical staining, immunoblotting and other immunoassays for cellular or tumour biology research. Purified alpha-actinin from chicken gizzard is used as an immunogen for production of antibodies.

Alpha II beta-Integrin

The MAb to human integrins can be used for immunohistochemical staining, immunoblotting and other immunoassays for cellular or tumour biology research. It interacts with the IIb-subunit of β-integrins, specifically on platelets, megakaryocytes and leukemic cells that undergo megakaryocytic differentiation. A partially purified platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa complex is used as an immunogen for antibody production.
